*insert title here*- Week 40 (12/9/19)

"The Prodigal Son" by Walter Rane

Why hello there.
Not too much to say this week, I'll keep it short.
We had interview with the President again! Things are going well. I'm proud of my son and how far hes come. President talked to me a little bit about repentance and a few questions I had about the sacrament. As well, there is a member here who has decided that he doesnt like the changes happening in the church and he elected to go and start complaining to other members and he has since stopped coming to church.
One night, we were out rather late because I was answering questions and explaining things to one of the members who had a lot of questions, both on his own, and because of things that the apostate brother had been complaining about.

Down here I have seen time and time and time and time again that some members get "offended" or that they "dont like how different" things are, and so they decide that now the church is false. Or that they can just be alone at home and not go anymore.
It's so tiring at this point honestly. Here I am, an ALMOST 20 year old counseling people well into their 60's that they need to (basically) stop being a baby and getting mad at someone that looked at them wrong 5 years ago.
Crazy how people will allow basically anything to come between them and their salvation.

On the upside, we went to the Hidalgo lights, which is a light show kinnddddaaa similar to temple square. It was a lot of fun being able to talk to people there.
We've also been able to talk to some cool people! So here's to hoping that they're willing to keep commitments lol.

I've gone back to studying the scriptures and have started reading the Bible Dictionary. It's actually SOO interesting. I just love learning little tidbits about things.

We also watched the christmas devotion and it was awesome!!!!

I also bought just a little bit of paint and it's been SO fun painting again. I missed it.

Best of luck all.
Remember that people make mistakes, take it easy on them.

Yall can do it!
Love you all,
Elder Reginato
