Haircuts are cool except they're not- Week 12 (5/27/19)

I'm writing this right after I've gotten a haircut, and it feels like there are bugs all over me (because of the hairs) and it's making me mistype so much haha!
I hope it's just hair!! :)))))))
(Sooooo sick of the bugs here haha)

But hello everyone!
I'll keep this one short, this week something happened to my email and it wont show me the emails I got past a certain time this week, so I'll have to respond to everyone personally next week, sorry!!!

But yes what to say,
We set two new baptismal dates this week, so hopefully the two people (Junior and Ana) will actually keep their commitments and wont fizzle out!!! We're praying for them, and they're both really really cool people. They've been really interested in the things we've been teaching, which is always nice.
I'm always happy when I can teach a lesson, I just love the way it makes sense to people who have felt lost in their religion or who just have questions that they cant find answers to.
If you've ever wondered who God is or whether or not he loves he, I strongly encourage you to go and ask for some missionaries. You can schedule an appointment on comeuntochrist.org :))

Hmmmm
Well, I officially have basically made studying the scriptures one of my favorite pastimes now.
The stories, when studied carefully and understood thoroughly, are very interesting, and filled with things that need to be read two or three times to be understood.
The scriptures aren't meant to be read solely one verse at a time without other sources. They're meant to be connected with other things such as prayer, other scriptures, talks (from conference and from other church leaders), and other background that may need to be understood to have the scripture make sense.
A story I studied yesterday is in 1 kings 16, where Elijah the prophet challenges the priests of Baal to see which of their two God's will light a pyre of fire. (Guess who wins)

There are tons of different scriptures just waiting for you to read them, I promise. Just pray and start reading.

Well.
This has been long enough, and I'm sure y'all have more important things to do anyways haha.
Best of luck to y'all,
Message me when you can. I read every message I get, and even though I cant respond this week, I promise I will next week. :)
[Dont worry Tracy, Natty, Vickie, Chloe]
Love you all, praying for all of you back home.

Best wishes,
Elder Reginato
