Apparently I'm An Apostle Now, So That's Cool.- Week 9 (5/6/19)
So when Isa doesn't send a picture I'm just adding some awesome artwork I've come across during the week:) This one is called Sunshine in My Soul, by Yongsung Kim

Sup.
Nothing new really!
I'm just here in northern Mexico, where it's basically the temperature and climate of a hotel bathroom right after you step out of the shower. :)
Lol honestly it's not that bad, though there are sometimes where we're in a house without air conditioning or any air circulation and I feel like I'm in a sauna, so that's cool.
Overall the food is good.
The members and people here are so nice.
A lot of people here are living very, very humbly, but they're still kind.
I remember just a few days ago we stopped by an older man who was a recent convert, and he was showing us this massive painting he found in a pile of trash from some people renovating a building, and it was super pretty. The painting was of a nice blue sky and had a TON of air balloons all over it. It was super clean and not broken at all surprisingly, and he said he just needed to find somewhere in his little house to put it. He then started telling us sorry that we couldn't contact him because he didn't have a job, so he couldnt pay for his phone, and it had been disconnected, and he couldnt afford to have a car to meet us anywhere.
I just remember tearing up a little bit, because that painting of the air balloons reminded me of something that Grandpa would like.
It just reminded me that there are good people all around the world in very different circumstances.
I just wanted to give all the stuff that I had on me, from my phone to the little cash that I had in my bag!
I know that I've been very blessed in my life, from the materials and food and possessions, to the people I've met and the skills I have.
I hope that everyday I'll be able to be a little more Christ like and be able to help everyone I meet a little bit more.
In relation to the title, we met an old man who called us over and he was reverently silent for a moment, until he said he was proud of us for going and preaching God's word.
He then proceeded to ask my companion and I if we were apostles.
We couldnt stop our laughter for a second before we quickly said that no no, we're just missionaries.
It was really funny.
I've lately been reading the institute manual as I study the new testament and I feel like I've been learning a lot!
This is long enough as it is Haha, but I miss you all!
I hope you're all doing well and that you've stopped crying over End Game!
I wish you all the best of luck,
Sincerely,
Elder Reginato
