Volleyball Champ- Week 5 Update (4/10/19)

Last P-Day email from Mexico!!

Alright, hello everyone!
I'm doing well thanks for asking, I'm a wee bit bored and tired since we do the same thing every day lol but overall it's been really really nice! I'm SUPER excited to head out for Texas on Monday where I'll be able to really start helping people and doing the work.

My Spanish is coming along decently well I'd like to think, I'm pretty much able to understand whatever people say and formulate some kind of response at least haha.
The classes are going well, and on Monday I even taught the entire lesson to my district about the subjunctive grammar tense! It made me miss my old Spanish teacher a bit, because I used a lot of the notes she had given me and she had passed away just this past January.

I hope everyone watched conference!
There were a lot of really good talks and no matter who you are, you can learn something to better yourself, I guarantee it.
I personally was able to increase my own testimony about the Atonement of Jesus Christ.
For anyone who wants to, just email me about a specific talk and I'll share some of the things I learned or felt during it.

Lol okay so with the title.
Basically these past few two or three weeks we've been playing volleyball everyday during gym time and we've been playing for about 3-5 hours on p-day.
Although I've gotten quite a bit better, I'm still not very good lol.
Mari, I wish I'd had you teach me how to be a pro before I came so that I could show off haha.
It's a TON of fun, especially when we get some really good long volleys going.

I've been playing some piano here and there, and yesterday I played for the devotional again. I played the hymns, prelude postlude, and a special number for the choir to sing along with.
Ive been really happy to be able to play the piano, it's been a great destressor and something for me to relax with when I'm stressed or homesick.

I miss all of you back home, and I hope that you're all doing great. Pray whenever you need strength, and have faith.
I know that our lives can be better than they are now, regardless of how good we think they are already, by growing closer to the Father in heaven.
Feel free to email me whenever, I'll be able to respond on my pday sometime after I make it into Texas!
I love you all,
Best of luck,

Elder Reginato
