Getting on a Jet Plane... (3/5/19)

We dropped Isa off at the SLC airport around 8am and were rushed to say one last goodbye as he got sucked into the security line. It was probably for the best, like yanking off a BandAid, cause who knows how long we would have hugged and cried had we been allowed to. We didn't even get a picture with all seven of us, so these will have to do:
Mom, Isa, and Dad

Josh, Julie, Nate, Isa, and Ethan

Last picture in front of the house, Isa looks understandably nervous...

Siblings helping wheel the suitcases

The airport was PACKED!! Isa was annoyed haha!

One second we were all together, next second he's yanked into the security line as an airport lady scolds us (and other missionary families) for hugging goodbye in the wrong area... Once in line these two immediately introduced themselves to each other, it was cute.

One last wave to the teary moms left behind.

I love that this was my last view of my wonderful son Isaiah for two years. Happy, confident, excited, and ready to go serve the Lord.

This picture represents the rest of us perfectly. We went to Black Bear Diner for breakfast and the younger kids ditched school to stay with Dad.

The day he left...

Me stalking his flight from class to make sure he arrived in Mexico City safely. He did:)
